Dracology: Fantasy or Reality?

Ice (Frost, Blue, or White) Dragon

Many do not know of the Ice Dragon.  Because of the popular idea that all dragons breathe flame, no real interest is shown in looking into the dragons of colder climates.

According to Santharia.com, Frost Dragons, Snow Dragons, and Ice Dragons are separate species. The Frost Dragons are capable of breathing cones of extremely cold mist, which would freeze instantly. Females can use ice magic, manipulating it to create ice walls or spheres of fog. They are immune to their own spells, of course, but it is not told if they are immune simply to spells cast by themselves, or to all spells involving cold or ice. They have pitoned claws by which they may clasp icy ledges or rocks. Their bodies are very serpentine, with snaking necks and imbricating scales. Because of the extreme climates in which they live, few humans have ever seen them.

Ice Dragons frequently use their camoflaging skills, considering the harsh environment they live in. They can secrete a thin film to blend into the snow, sky, or water more than they already could naturally. This makes ambush and cover their ideal method of attack.
